Ericson Manufacturing Creates Primer for Electrical Compliance
As a member of ACCED-I, Ericson is continuing their pledge to help conference and event professionals understand the complicated world of compliance with regards to electrical safety and lighting at special events. As they have found with many visits around the country, the staff electricians of the facilities department are not always knowledgeable as to the rule changes which (in case of an accident) could cost millions of dollars in court. Event professionals need to understand that the buck stops with them as far as compliance is concerned. They could even be held personally liable in a civil action if their event did not comply with the National Electric Code (NEC).
To help educate, Ericson has created a primer brochure which shows the actual codes that are commonly missed and the solution to comply. Ericson will provide free on-site and/or online electrical training and evaluation for you and your staff. For more information call 1-800-ERICSON.
