After 11 years as the manager of conference services at the University of Puget Sound, Kathyrn Morse has accepted the position of assistant director, Conference Services at Seattle University. Kathryn said, “I have ACCED-I to thank for the job, too! When I arrived in Washington State in 1995, I got a call from my Regional Director, Char Summers, to welcome me to the area. Char and I became friends through all the ACCED-I functions, both regional and international. She mentioned to me that she was retiring from her position at Seattle University, although I was not actually looking for another job. After meeting with Liz Fenn--another friend through ACCED-I and head of the department--I realized that Seattle U. had just what I wanted as a next step in my career. So, here I am!”
