What's Happening Around the Region

Join Us for Region 1 Drive-In at CU Boulder

Please join ACCED-I and CU Conference Services for a hands-on day of exploring the dining trends of 2017 at our newest building on campus, the Williams Village Center and Community Commons.

We will be hosting a one-day free networking opportunity for existing ACCED-I members and professionals interested in our Association on Friday, February 3, from 10AM through 2PM. We are excited to host you in our new LEED Platinum Certified facility and touch on some sustainability topics we can see in action. If you have any information you would like to share with the group or any discussion topics you would like to talk about outside of dining, please send them our way. We are planning to have a loose agenda for the day including a cooking class in our new demonstration kitchen. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to Lauren Clark at

Congratulations to our two scholarship winners, Krysta Kasinski from CSU Maritime Academy and Alyssa Longeuay from San Diego State University. Their scholarships will cover registration to attend the ACCED-I 37th Annual Conference scheduled for March 26-29, 2017 in beautiful Orlando, FL.

All those that applied were worthy and it was definitely a tough choice for our judges. We encourage you all to apply again next year. Hope to see everyone in Orlando!

Congratulations to our newly elected Regional Director-Elect, Heather Wagner Rappaport from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. And just in case you missed it, here is her spotlight. Check out the member spotlight on our Facebook page.
