Getting Around in Minneapolis
Traveling to and from Minneapolis is just as easy as exploring it. For seasoned and non-seasoned travelers alike the city has several great options when traveling to the downtown area from the St. Paul/Minneapolis International Airport. When selecting your travel options please note that the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis does not offer shuttle service to or from the airport.
Taxi Cab: Cabs are available at each Terminals shuttle/ground transportation section. Regular cab fare to/from MSP is $40.00 - $60.00.
Super Shuttle: Super Shuttle provides shuttle service from the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport to the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis for $15 one way or $24 round trip for ACCED-I 38th Annual Conference attendees. Click here to make your reservation online. Enter the code HQP5X to receive the special rate.
Light Rail: Located beneath both Terminals of the airport is the Minneapolis Light Rail Hiawatha/55 Line. The cost of the light rail is roughly $1.75-$2.25, depending on time of day. The light rail station closest to the Hyatt is located at 5th & Nicollet. From there the hotel is a short 7 block walk or a 5 minute “Free Ride.” Click here for Light Rail maps.
Free Ride: Running every 10-20 minutes, get on just outside the hotel at Nicollet & Grant and travel north into downtown Minneapolis and end at Washington Avenue. Free Ride busses are available seven days a week from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. between. Pay just 50 cents if you ride within the Downtown Zone on other routes.
