Drive-In at Brookdale Community College
November 29, 2017 | 11 am - 3 pm
As Brookdale Community College celebrates our 50 Year Anniversary, we invite you to the beautiful, Lincroft, NJ Campus, conveniently accessible from Exit 109 on the Garden State Parkway. Brookdale is a rustic property, located on a 220 acre former horse-farm and is bordered by the serene Swimming River Reservoir.
Attendees will receive relevant information about emergency management, fire, safety and environmental implications in a collegiate events environment. Following a networking lunch, participants will engage in round table discussions. The Drive-In will conclude after a campus tour.
Be prepared for an informative chat and chew; while we exchange ideas and best practices in the industry of collegiate conferences and events.

Welcome Our Newest Member
Region 5 would like to welcome our newest member Jen O’Sheal of Seton Hall University.
Region 5 would like to welcome our latest new member: Dave Kemmy of Roger Williams University.
Region 5 has been very connected and working hard to get more volunteers signed up for the various committees and to have a better presence on social media.
Region 5 will be putting together a Google doc to get demographic information from Region 5 members to start a Member Spotlight social media post (weekly or twice a week).
Regarding social media: we will be adding more content so that we are scheduling things to go out once a day. Things to add: US and Canadian holidays, creating a poll to gauge interest in certain potential drive-in locations and what’s happening on campuses in Region 5.
New volunteers that have joined committees are: Kristin Bruno, Drew University on the Social Media Committee and Kathryn Vieillard, Yale University, will be contributing to the newsletter. They will be joining other new volunteers: Stephen Leddy, The College of New Jersey, who will be on the elections, awards and scholarship committee; and John Murphy, WCSU, on the Outreach and Recruitment Committee.
Boston College will be hosting a Drive-In in the fall focusing on annual/statistical reporting for our units – best practices. Stay tuned for information about a Drive-In at Cornell.
