Call for Nominations

In accordance with the bylaws adopted last fall, ACCED-I is pleased to announce the formation of a Nominations Committee. The committee shall solicit nominations from the general membership for Board Director candidates. This committee will play an integral role for the Association as it fosters the continued leadership and strategic direction of the Association.

The Nominations Committee shall be constituted as follows: 1) one member to be nominated and elected by the general membership; 2) one member appointed by the President of the Board of Directors; 3) and one member appointed by the President as Chair of the committee. Members shall serve no more than one, staggered three-year term. In order to create the staggered terms, the initial elected position will serve a two year term. At the March 21st meeting of the Board of Directors, Lisa Salazar, CCEP, was appointed to serve as Chair of the committee.

The call for nominations for the elected position is now open. If you would like to nominate a fellow member or yourself for this position, please fill out the online application below. The call for nominations will end on Monday, April 30th at 5 pm (MST). To be nominated, you must be a member of ACCED-I for at least one year and be in good standing with the Association. All member types are eligible to serve.

Nominators must verify that nominees meet these criteria and are willing to serve on the Nominations Committee. Please contact your nominee(s) and obtain their consent before submitting a nomination(s) for their candidacy.

Nominations must be received in the ACCED-I office by 5:00 pm MST, Monday, April 30th.

Nominees are asked to email a personal statement (500 words or fewer) indicating why they want to serve on the Nominations Committee and what expertise they will bring to the table and an electronic photograph to ACCED-I by Monday, April 30th at 5 pm (MST) so they can be included on the candidate profile. Electronic photos, approximately 2" x 2" of good clarity, are preferred as jpeg, tiff, or png file. Candidates must adhere to strict campaign guidelines which are listed here. Any candidates found to be in violation of the policies may be removed from consideration.
