​2026 Benchmarking Study

The ACCED-I Benchmarking Study is designed to provide valuable insights into collegiate conference and event operations across higher education. By participating, you'll help create a comprehensive industry resource while gaining access to aggregated data that supports planning, informs decision-making, and provides meaningful comparisons with peer institutions.

The study consists of five surveys covering key areas of conference and event operations:

• Survey #1: Institutional Profile & Revenue (required to participate in the remaining surveys)
• Survey #2: Complete Meeting Packages & À La Carte Pricing
• Survey #3: Facility Rentals
• Survey #4: Housing Operations
• Survey #5: On-Campus Hotels & Meeting Space

​Participation begins with Survey #1: Institutional Profile & Revenue. This foundational survey must be completed before participating in the remaining surveys. The additional operational surveys will be released in the coming weeks, and you should only complete those that apply to your institution's services and areas of responsibility.

Previous Studies

The 2021 ACCED-I Benchmarking Study examined operational practices, challenges, and trends across collegiate conference and event programs during a period of significant change. The report provides a valuable historical perspective and offers members an opportunity to compare practices and explore how the profession has evolved since that time.
