The ACCED-I Annual Conference is the premier global event for collegiate conference and event professionals. It offers dynamic learning opportunities for both newcomers and seasoned experts, with sessions tailored to the diverse roles and disciplines across the collegiate conferencing and events industry.

Session Format
Special Interest Sessions*:
​​
60-minute traditional presentation. Sessions should be presented as a flexible model that can be adapted to any institution. However, we will accept a few institutional case studies.  If you are submitting a case study, please designate it as such. 
• If you will be submitting a panel presentation, no more than four presenters will be accepted.

How Proposals are Evaluated

All submissions will be reviewed based on the following:

• Clarity and quality of the proposal
• Relevance to the collegiate conference & events profession
• Timeliness and originality of the topic
• Audience engagement and appeal
• Clear and focused presentation goals
• Practical application and takeaways
• Presenter’s professional experience and speaking background

Our educational sessions are intended to share knowledge, research, and real-world experiences. They should not be used as platforms for promoting specific products or services.

Selection Process

The Education Action Team reviews and selects programs that demonstrate the greatest potential for contributing to the quality of the conference. The Action Team looks for presentations that represent the various roles of the collegiate conference and events profession and are dedicated to the development of a program that is of interest to advanced, middle, and entry-level professionals. Over 40% of ACCED-I attendees have more than 10 years of experience in the industry. Special consideration will be given to proposals that are geared toward this group. Individuals submitting proposals will be notified about the status of their proposals by December 2025.

Registration & Membership

• ​Presenters are not reimbursed for registration or travel expenses.
• All presenters must be registered for the conference.
• Corporate presenters must be ACCED-I members and registered as an exhibitor and/or sponsor of the Annual Conference

Audio/Visual:
ACCED-I provides:

• Screen, LCD projector, microphone, and sound access.

Presenters must provide:

• Computer and any required adapters.

Additional AV needs may be arranged (at presenter’s expense) by contacting Diana.

• By submitting a proposal, you agree that your session may be recorded.
• Please be aware that anti-trust laws prohibit the discussion of, or publishing of (in handouts), any information pertaining to prices, discounts, terms or conditions of sale, profit, profit margins, and/or cost data.
