Application Process and Fees
- Submit your application along with the certification fee ($150/year for members $300/year for nonmembers). If choosing to pay by check, select the Bill Me option at checkout.
- You will receive an email notification once your application is received along with the anticipated review completion date. The average review time is 60 days from receipt of all materials at ACCED-I HQ.
- ACCED-I will review your application for completeness and determine if all criteria have been met. If all criteria are met, certification will be approved.
- If criteria are not met, ACCED-I will notify you that your initial application has been denied.
- Suggestions to meet the program criteria may be offered with a due date of three months from notification. If newly submitted documentation demonstrates that changes have been implemented to meet the program criteria, your application will be approved.
- If criteria cannot be met, ACCED-I will notify you of the decision and reason for the denial.
- Successful applicants will receive an approval letter, press release, a certificate for display, and digital OSS certification logos that can be utilized for marketing materials and websites. Certified institutions will also be listed on the ACCED-I website.
