​We want event participants to be able to apply what they learn to help elevate them to the next level. The content of your session can incorporate tools that increase comprehension, such as case studies and discussion breaks.

Session Information

We're seeking sessions that are 75-90 minutes long, providing ample time to dive deep into your topic within the realm of collegiate event management.  Session topics can cover:

• ​Event strategy and design
• Managing increase of costs
• Emergency Management
• Educating Your Campus Stakeholders​

• Data analysis to support department
• New revenue streams/ marketing
• Technology and AI
• Other ideas​ ​

Selection Criteria

The ACCED-I Education Action Team reviews and selects programs that demonstrate the tools needed to tackle the ever-evolving collegiate conference and events industry.  The action team will be considering:

• Relevance and timeliness to the profession
• Audience appeal
• Well-defined focus
• Actionable takeaways

Additional Information to present for ACCED-I:

• Must be a member in good standing.
• Sessions are meant to share knowledge, research, and experiences.  They are NOT an opportunity to promote specific products or services.
• If accepted, your session will be presented early November – early December, time and date to be decided together with ACCED-I.
