This award recognizes and celebrates a significant achievement by an individual or department in the conference and events field for exemplary efforts in diversity, equity, and inclusion. This recognition can be demonstrated through collaboration and/or partnership with specific clients, development of processes to include DE&I in internal/external programs, or representing an outstanding milestone in the institution’s conference and events program..
Requirements Include:

• Any qualified ACCED-I-member in good standing may be considered for award nominations
• This achievement should be of noted value to the individual’s department processes, and/or the collegiate conference and events profession and contribute new ways of approaching event management from a lens of advocacy, support, and empowerment in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion
• The nomination should demonstrate innovation and measurable outcomes
• Self-nominations are encouraged with documentation from event, university, and/or community partners
• Current board members are ineligible for this award
