The Inclusive Excellence Award recognizes and celebrates a significant achievement by an individual or department in the conference and events field for exemplary efforts in diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Recognition may be demonstrated through:

• Collaboration and partnership with specific clients
• Development of processes to include DE&I in internal/external programs
• Efforts that represent an outstanding milestone in the institution’s conference and events program..

Nominations should highlight the following:

• This achievement should be of noted value to the individual’s department processes, and/or the collegiate conference and events profession and contribute new ways of approaching event management from a lens of advocacy, support, and empowerment in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion
• The nomination should demonstrate innovation and measurable outcomes

Eligibility Requirements:

• Any qualified ACCED-I member in good standing may be considered for this award
• Current ACCED-I Board members are not eligible for consideration

Additional Information:

• Self-nominations are encouraged with documentation from event, university, and/or community partners
