The Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors-International (ACCED-I) is now accepting nominations for Board of Directors and Regional Leadership positions. We’re looking for passionate, forward-thinking members who are ready to help shape the future of ACCED-I. As our industry continues to evolve, we need strong, collaborative leaders who can guide the Association through new challenges and opportunities.
Board of Directors
The ACCED-I Board of Directors plays a vital role in guiding the strategic vision and direction of the Association. Board members provide leadership and make key decisions that support the growth of the collegiate conference and events profession. Their dedication ensures ACCED-I continues to serve its members with excellence, innovation, and integrity.

- Two Board of Directors seats, to be appointed at the 46th Annual Conference, March 2026 in Louisville, KY, and serving a term from March 2026 through March 2027.

Regional Leadership
Regional Leadership drives efforts to cultivate vibrant, dynamic, and inclusive regional communities by promoting Association programming opportunities, expanding membership, and fostering engagement that align with the mission of ACCED-I.

- Five (5) Regional Director-Elect positions – each serving a three-year term from March 2026 through March 2029. The term includes one year as Regional Director-Elect, one year as Regional Director, and one year as Immediate Past Regional Director.

Nominees should complete the nomination form and submit the following to ACCED-I by Tuesday, December 2, 2025, 5:00 PM MST to be included in the candidate profile:

- A personal statement (500 words or fewer) explaining why they wish to serve on the Board or as Regional Director-Elect and what skills or expertise they bring.
- An electronic headshot (approximately 2" x 2") in JPEG or PNG format with good clarity.
