The Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors-International (ACCED-I) is a global network of over 1,300 campus professionals dedicated to designing, marketing, coordinating, and planning conferences and events at colleges and universities worldwide. Since its inception in 1980, ACCED-I has significantly raised the visibility and enhanced the stature of the collegiate conference and events profession.

Our mission is to promote and advance the collegiate conference and events profession while setting industry standards of excellence.

Our Purpose
The Association aims to:

• Unite individuals responsible for providing conference and event services within educational organizations.
• Uphold high standards of business practices and ethical conduct among its members.
• Foster a spirit of camaraderie and cooperation in the business affairs of its members.
• Promote communication and the exchange of ideas and information among professional colleagues.
• Encourage member institutions to recognize their conference and event personnel as professional-level employees.
• Advocate for the profession.
• Support and promote the professional development of its members.
