It's true! There are numerous studies that conclude that volunteering offers numerous health and mental benefits. We know you’re busy, but we encourage you to make time to get involved with ACCED-I. Participating in the Association will benefit you as a professional and help ACCED-I achieve its goals. ACCED-I has a number of ways for you to get involved. Some take only a few hours, while others require a larger time commitment. You pick the ones that fit your expertise and your schedule.
Action Teams help move the Association toward its goals. Each Action Team consists of an ACCED-I staff liaison, an appointed Chairperson and volunteer members. Current Action Teams include:
- Nominations & Recognition
- Leadership Development
- Student Development
- CCEP (must hold CCEP certification)
