Today is a spectacular fall day in Michigan.Trees are in their beautiful colors.Despite all of the negatives happening in the world and around our country, it is just wonderful to take the time to appreciate the little things in life.
I miss seeing all of my friends and colleagues in ACCED-I, but we make up for it with Zoom meetings, quick text messages, and phone calls. The support and knowledge that people have your back is just what the doctor ordered these days.
ACCED-I continues to offer opportunities for the membership to connect and learn. Please take the time to check out some of the offerings. There are six calls in the ACCED-I Conference Call Series: COVID-19 scheduled through December.Three Educational Forums remain before we roll into 2021.Next week, the Educational Forum is focused on Event Management.Registration is still open for those interested in attending.
Please take the time to care for yourself and those that you love. I try to include a quote in these letters that inspires me. I hope it provides a light moment for you as well. Ernest Hemmingway spent his summers in Northern Michigan as a child. I appreciate his following quote, “In order to write life first you must live it.”
Thank you all for all that you do. I look forward to seeing everyone again soon.
