Boston University Restoration!
The Castle at Boston University reopened in September 2018 after a 15 month restoration. The restoration included the expansion of Fuller’s Pub on the lower level, creation of the Dahod Family Alumni Center on the upper floors, and the opening of the Faculty Dining Room on the first floor. When not in use as the Faculty Dining Room, the first floor can be used for events and is one of Boston’s most popular venues for weddings. Curbed Boston recently posted an article detailing the restoration along with photos. Look familiar? The exterior of The Castle was featured in the opening scene of 2016’s Ghostbusters movie starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones.
