The ACCED-I Awards & Recognition program is dedicated to recognizing individuals and institutions that have set the standard of excellence during the year. Receiving an ACCED-I Award is a great way to gain recognition, not only within the collegiate conference and event industry, but at your institution. By recognizing outstanding service in ourselves and others, we bring prestige to our profession and our institutional roles.
Award nomination deadline is December 14, 2018.
Award Categories & Nominations
Process & Recognition
Members of the Nominations and Recognition Action Team are ineligible to make a nomination for the awards categories.
Current Board members are ineligible for award nomination during their term with noted exceptions.
The Nominations and Recognition Committee will review nominations and determine award recipients.
Presentation of awards will be made during the awards program at the ACCED-I Annual Conference. All candidates will be notified of nominations prior to the Annual Conference. It is not necessary to be present to receive an award.
Regardless of the number of nomination submissions received, the committee reserves the right not to select an award recipient in any category if the nominees’ credentials do not meet the qualifications or criteria for the award.
Award recipients will receive a keepsake to commemorate their achievement.
Award recipients will receive a press release recognizing their achievement following the ACCED-I Annual Conference. Individualized press releases will be created and emailed to those indicated by the recipient. In addition, a letter will be mailed to the award recipient's supervisor.
