ACCED-I welcomes blog contributions that share ideas, experiences, and insights from across the collegiate conferences and events profession. Topics may include:
- Industry trends and emerging ideas
- Innovative strategies and creative solutions
- Leadership and professional growth experiences
- Volunteer involvement and ACCED-I engagement
- Event management and operational best practices
- Student staffing, training, and team development
- Marketing, sales, and campus partnerships
- Lessons learned and real-world experiences
- Successful programs, events, or campus initiatives
- Individual and institutional achievements
Whether you’re sharing a success story, a new perspective, or practical takeaways that can benefit fellow professionals, we encourage you to contribute your voice and expertise to the ACCED-I community.
General Guidelines
- Topic: Article topic can be of your choosing. For inspiration, please refer to the “What We’re Looking For” section above.
- Length: Articles should typically be 1,200–1,500 words. Articles exceeding 2,000 words may be divided into a multi-part feature. Contributors may also include a short professional bio of 100 words or less.
- Format: Articles may be submitted as a Word document or PDF file.
- Headshot: Please include a high-resolution headshot, approximately 2" x 2", in JPEG, TIFF, or PNG format.
- Additional photos: If available, we encourage contributors to submit high-resolution photos related to the article topic, such as events, facilities, teams, or campus experiences. Images should be submitted in JPEG, TIFF, or PNG format.
- Submission confirmation: Once your submission is received, an ACCED-I representative will contact you to confirm receipt and discuss any recommended edits or revisions.
- Publication: Accepted articles may be featured on the ACCED-I blog, in ACCED-I Connect, and across ACCED-I digital channels, including LinkedIn.
