To ensure the continued development and growth of the Association, the ACCED-I Board of Directors met in Fort Collins, Colorado in October 2022 to develop and finalize new strategic goals for ACCED-I.
Strategic Focus Areas
After deliberation, the board established three areas of strategic focus moving forward
1. Strategic Focus Area: Support and Engage New, Experienced, and Veteran Professionals
Create and develop a plan to support and promote sustained engagement of new, experienced, and veteran professionals.

- Conduct focus groups of members to provide them with a personalized experience for sharing feedback

2.Strategic Focus Area: Redefining Collegiate Conference and Events
For the future viability of the Collegiate Conferences and events industry and ACCED-I, paint a broad picture of the landscape, and establish a revised framework and best practices for ACCED-I members.

3. Strategic Focus area: Thriving in the Face of Financial Challenges
Create an initiative/campaign to define and provide resources to address the current and future financial challenges facing higher education and ACCED-I.
